Not authentic at all!! You may aswell buy a microwave meal, cost a lot less and you'd probably feel satisfied. If you want to come away hungry and penniless then this is the place for you!! If you like good food avoid at all cost!! Totally naff experience.

Read a beautiful review in The Guardian about this place and decided to visit - and am glad we did. First of all - location is beautiful, just by the marina where all the boats are docked - can't get better than that. We were welcomed at the door and taken to our table, and then the magic happens - drinks, starters, main course, desserts - all fresh and have this home made feel, you could tell it's made with so much care and love. Every dish is just so delicious - every mouthful is an event, I honestly haven't had such fun eating before. Already planning our next visit - where we look forward to try out all the other beautiful dishes. Thank you for the amazing service!!!

Two excellent experiences now at Gigi Gao's. Every dish has been reliably delicious and some really memorable. Some take longer than others, but it has been worth the wait. The warm welcome and kind service on top of the wonderful setting and decoration - especially the crockery! - makes it all feel special. Such good fortune for Swansea! 🥠❤️
