They somehow found my work email address, even though I don't use this on LinkedIn or any other social media platform. I have been getting several emails from one of their employees about a vacancy that I am neither interested in nor am suitably qualified for. I intend replying to this person but suspect my experience will be the same as the others who have left reviews here. In my opinion, this behavior consistutes a violation of § 7 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 of the Gesetz gegen den unlauteren Wettbewerb (UWG) [Act against Unfair Competition] since I live in Germany; never gave them permission to contact me and have never indicated that I am interested in getting job offers. Requesting a Right to Erasure (§§ 17 GDPR) on their website, requires you to provide a copy of your ID card and proof of residential address. I am certainly not willing to share that sort of information with a company that appears to not respect the laws of other countries and the privacy of ordinary people.
