We have just had Invictus flooring laid in our hall way and carpets in the bedroom,stairs and landing. My house now looks amazing, Tim and his team have done a fantastic job. Elliott (the flooring magician) is truly a perfectionist, his attention to detail and expertise in his craft is outstanding, with the finished result reflecting this. There was a problem with a step area of the hallway which took Elliott a lot of time and patience to put right, but he did it and it looks great.I realise all the team at Harman carpets are extremely busy and are striving to please all their customers (especially) at this time of year, but they have achieved this through hard work and positive customer focus. Thank you to Tim, Josh and Amelia for a great service and a special thank you to Elliott he truly is a very talented young man. I would highly recommend Harman carpets, look no further.

We have had a lot of experience with Harman carpets and I must start by saying that at the end of the process, we had a lovely result. We are always keen to support local family companies, it is really important, especially at a time like this. However, our experience was not entirely painless. We got there in the end and we are grateful to Tim and Elliot for rectifying our problems. We ordered carpets for upstairs and the living room. This work was done to a very high standard and never had a problem. We also ordered Polyflor to run from our kitchen through to our dining room. Tim was helpful in choosing a pattern and a colour. His quote was competitive and we were happy to give our business to a family run company. Unfortunately, a few months post installation, the Polyflor started to come away from the subfloor and we were left with large area of the kitchen with a buckled floor. We contacted Tim and the problems then started. Tim provided a number of explanations as to why it may have happened including blaming the weight of the cooker and some tiling behind it. We contacted the builders who did the tiling whom eventually liaised with Tim. A hole was drilled in the floor and we discovered the original floor (which was oak) had buckled. There was no clear plan to get this sorted until I paid a national flooring inspector (at a cost of approx £450) who ruled that the sub floor preparation was incorrect. After this report was made available to Tim, he gave us a date for the repair straightaway, revised the floor completely and we ended up with the floor we wanted. It looked absolutely superb. Elliot is a talented, polite and solid worker: a real credit to the company. My biggest disappointment was how long it took to be rectified and on occasion, the company could be more reliable and sensitive in their communication. Overall, I would recommend Harmans and do hope that this feedback is received in the spirit it was intended. I do hope all are well and that as a small business you survive this difficult time.
