My wife has had an appalling experience trying to register with this surgery following a move to the area. Her medical records appear to be lost and from numerous visits the receptionists seem unable to clarify or solve the problem. Repeat prescriptions are needed and the surgery appears to have lost her last paper prescription which was submitted two weeks ago. This has left her with no means of obtaining repeat prescriptions and medication as her previous practice has deregistered her. We have rated at one star in the absence of no stars.

Having experienced prescription problems whilst caring for a sick friend, Meg an employee of the Wigginton Chemist shone as the brightest star, ironing out the glitches for me. As I need the aid of walking sticks and was weary, I found her so helpful and respectful in every way. Well done Meg!! And thank you!!

Contacted the surgery through the contact request at 7.45am and had a reply by 9.30am to say a prescription had been sent to pharmacy. The tablets were ready to collect by 10am. Cannot fault the service I received. Cannot thank them enough especially during these difficult times.

The last time i went to the doctors must have been, near on 10 years ago. And to book an appointment just pick up the phone and someone would answer usually within 5 mins. I was 2nd in the queue today when i phoned (after going through a hundred options) and was 2nd in the queue 30 mins later - absolutely shocking!! So, i tried the online request method - and after taking a few mins to fill in the form and pressing 'submit' i get a message saying 'there was an error, please try again later'. What is going on????? It's a good job i'm not dying, although the frustration of trying to get through is slowly killing me!!
