I love this shop. The staff have always been so helpful and friendly, over many years, whether I've been to buy an instrument, sheet music or a child's xylophone or even getting a list of local music tutors. The idea of no Banks shop in York is very sad.

Went to this shop today with the intension of buying a Fender Stratocaster , but whilst trying to decide my wife noticed this member of staff hovering around and every time we looked at him he would pretend to be doing something or straightening the records or something else , long hair and hippie type appearance hey man you should not judge a book by its cover. Needless to say I went to Selby and spent £2000 there on my present to me.
