I spent a glorious break at Forest Retreat, a magnificent lodge at the Hollicarrs Holiday Park near York. The lodge overlooked the rolling Yorkshire countryside and the peace and beauty were overwhelming. The lodge itself was warm, spacious and clean, with a great hot tub. The staff were friendly and helpful, making this a very special stay, the perfect antidote the the stresses and strains of modern life. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a break this weekend (Feb 2023) and absolutely loved it. Pure peace, tranquility in idyllic settings and a lodge (Bluebell Lodge in my case) that was immaculate and into which clearly a lot of thought has gone into from the owners. 100% recommend this for a family/couples getaway

We stopped in dragon fly with the dogs and it was so great, the location was amazing and the cabin was so clean it was fabulous and the dogs were safe what was most important to us, we will definitely be returning again such a great place to relax Thank you hollicarrs

Just had a three night stay at Hares Leap lodge. The lodge was fabulous, spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly want for your stay. It was lovely to sit in the hot tub at night, it was so quiet and peaceful and great to see the hares running past. The park is very well maintained with friendly helpful staff. Great for a relaxing quiet break.

Ultimate relaxation! Can't speak highly enough of this amazing lodge and park. I booked the bluebell lodge for four nights as a treat for my partners birthday, this place had everything. Hot tub, board games, bath and shower, smart TV. On arrival we were also treated to treats from the lodge owners Lynn and Gregg. We will be definately be returning in the future :)
