Maybe a 10 min walk from the Micklegate but after you've had there epic full English it will set you up for the day around York. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice and quite at night. Food & drinks: Breakfast spread is epic!!!

Arrived to be told they had double booked our room and it wasn't available. (albeit we recieved email confirmation a few days beforehand), Told us they had booked a room for us at their sister hotel an hour away. The man at reception didn't really seem to care, barely offering a tilted head, and stating it wasn't their problem it was their booking system!. Luckily the hotel across the road had a room available. If you do decide to stay here I would be inclined to call the hotel before arrival to confirm they have reserved a room for you, as their booking system is not to be trusted.

Rooms are clean but the stairs are very steep and numerous. If you're not good on your feet, make sure you get a room downstairs. (Original) Nah an der City, Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Frühstück bietet nicht wirklich Auswahl, ist aber liebevoll zubereitet und sehr lecker. Personal ist super. Zimmer sind sauber, aber die Treppen sind sehr steil und zahlreiche. Wenn ihr nicht gut zu Fuß seid, sorgt dafür, dass ihr ein Zimmer unten bekommt. Walkability: Innenstadt und Sehenswürdigkeiten, sowie Einkauf gut erreichbar
