  Excellent care provider. Mum and dad have been looked after beautifully by the care team. They have had a live in carer for nearly a year. All have been wonderful with different strengths .. Cathy so caring and incredible attention to detail. Spot on organising the house She'd take dad out every day to go blackberry and apple scrumping. Cathy was the angel who was with Mum when she passed away and we are so grateful for her love and care. Jacqui was fantastic at helping dad exercise, had a great sense of humor and fab at house organising and taking dad out for walks. Melinda took over when dad moved into Hill Brow nursing home. Luckily she loves the outdoors so walked 3 miles to come visit dad and play competitive scrabble and other games. She's helped him settle in by introducing him to other residents. She was very accommodating as we gave her a list of jobs to fill her time whilst not having to physically care for dad. The back office team including Susie, Inga and Ella have been fantastic ..on the ball to keep the carers supported when there's been issues with medication or equipment. So thank you team and Mhadi for running a great care business. Thank you from John Harvey (now 89) and his three daughters Liz, Jenny and Nicky

  I would like to take this opportunity to say that the regular carers who have looked after my husband since June last year have been great and we are particularly grateful to Gulay, Graham and Laura for their excellent care. I would also like to thank Angie who provided ad hoc care when we needed it. I would recommend your agency to anybody who is looking for home care. It certainly gave us time to think about how to continue with my husband’s long term care needs. Ulla Green

  I would like to how great the service my aunt has received from Home Instead . The carers especially Nicola, Gulay, Laura and Fran have been wonderful, responding both to my aunt's needs and to suggestions from the family which have considerably helped improve my aunt's quality of life especially since her bereavement. I would also like to say how impressed I am with the admin team.   I feel so lucky that someone recommended Homeinstead to our family over 10 years ago now. The Homeinstead Farnborough branch provided an outstanding team of carers who made a wonderful difference to my mum's life, giving her stability, friendship and opportunities, and enabled her to remain at the home that she loved. Over the years mum's care went from 1 visit a week to full time live in care. The live in carers were fully supported by the company and provided seamless cover during some difficult times in the pandemic. The whole team were always very professional, and having a Raiser Chair available to them, meant mum could be got back up after a minor fall without having to call an ambulance. I won't single out individual carers - you were all brilliant - Thank you so much

  I am delighted with the care from Home Instead. I am severely disabled and my husband is my full time Carer. We used them for three months when my husband was ill in 2018 and then have subsequently had them fortnightly to help him cope with housework. Following a fall and a ten week hospitalisation which left me virtually immobile with nighttime incontinence, they have cared for me once social service help finished. They have encouraged me to become gradually more independent and taken a lot of strain away from my 84 year old husband. I cannot praise these carers enough. Sylvia Brown

  Both my Mum and I have found the help from the Home Instead team a fantastic support. Suz has been so efficient in managing the introductions to Mum's carers, and Mum is very happy with the help she is receiving from Sherron, Elaine and Fern. They are all lovely, and aside from the practical help that they provide, Mum really enjoys chatting to them all each day. The schedulers do a fantastic job in confirming Mum's carers for each week.  I always receive the email with plenty of notice, which gives me time to update Mum's weekly planner for her each Saturday, ready for the coming week. This routine,  with regular carers and timings has definitely helped Mum feel more secure and less anxious. I have seen a marked improvement in Mum's confidence and demeanour since the carers started, and it has certainly given me a real peace of mind to know that she is being so well looked after. I also really like the app, as it means I get an update on how Mum is doing each morning, whilst I'm working. You really have a fantastic team - I'm so glad that my friend referred me to you. Thank you so much for everything that you do!

  Home Instead provided care for both of my parents this year. They were an excellent choice. From our initial enquiry to our final session, both the management team and the actual carers were professional, caring and helpful. Several of the carers went beyond their call of duty to support my parents in times of crisis. One carer (Jo) deserves a special mention. We could not have managed without them and I highly recommend them.

  From my initial enquiry to ongoing care being in place for my mum, I have found all staff I have been in contact with at Home Instead to be helpful, friendly, understanding and efficient. Mum now has a team of lovely caregivers who she really looks forward to seeing. She tells me how kind everyone is, respectful of her wishes and also of her home - a big thank you to Lorraine, Debbie K, Debbie H, June and Bibi! It was reassuring to mum to be able to meet potential caregivers before they started visiting her and having regular visit times and receiving a fortnightly schedule has helped establish the new routine. When the initial start time was a bit of a rush for mum to be ready, the caregiver fed this back and straight away the visit times were moved to suit mum better. Over the past month there have been a couple of occasions I have needed to request changes to the rota and the scheduling team have always been responsive and helpful. The new client manager Sylwia has been very supportive in enabling us to set up not just the right care at home for mum but finding the right caregivers who mum feels comfortable with. Mum's care plan & needs assessment are personalised, detailed and comprehensive both for physical needs and also emotional support. Since we have changed agencies to Home Instead the positive difference in mum's mood, anxiety and engagement is noticeable. She says she feels more relaxed in her own home, is supported to make daily choices and enjoys the social interactions. Our experience really has been one of a personalised service, which is enabling mum to stay in her own home where she would like to be. A big thank you to all at Home Instead involved in mum's care!

  My Mum originally needed a little help once a week. She lived in her flat and could at that point get around the flat but she would struggle with various tasks. Although being very different in character Mum made friends with that first carer, Chris. She would also later think of Julie as a friend. And it was great to see both Chris and Julie at Mum’s funeral. The two of them were help and companionship for Mum. Mum’s declining health meant that she needed more and more care. And Mum’s care became an essential part of her day to day life. I got to know a lot of the staff at Home-Instead and they all cared a lot about my Mum. Mum could be difficult at times and as her mental health declined and forgetfulness and then later dementia became issues the carers had a lot to deal with. Mum was not a simple case to deal with and I feel that the family could not have got through it all without Home-Instead. I’m grateful for having them support and help and befriend my Mum for as long as they did.
