First they wanted me to pay upfront without visiting, I insisted on visiting.. Thanks God. While the outside looked cute, building looked nice and garden lovely, the insite is filthy. Beyond anything you can imagine. I visited 2 different blocks and both were in a terrible state. Smell was atrocious, litter all over the floor and counters in the kitchen and shared area. When I know cleaning is the responsibility of the students, if the management was being more strict, the facilities would be in a better state. I don't even understand how people could live in a place that disgusting. I felt sick for the rest of the day. I gave 2 stars only because of the gardens and the people from the office were nice when we came to visit.

As time has passed, I've enjoyed this place less and less. Living here is inconvenience after inconvenience, with major repairs taking place constantly but with inconsistent informing. Issues go unresolved for months, and it often feels like everyone is just waiting for you to either forget or give up hoping for any resolution. The place itself is convient being close to Aldi, but that's all I can really say. It feels like this company has never managed accommodation before, so any issue is actively up to you to find and fix yourself. Pretty frustrating time, not sure if it's worth it.

I had a viewing at Calthorpe Court on Monday, and I was served by Adam. He was really helpful. He showed me around the student accommodation and explained all the facilities and information about the accommodation, such as rent and events etc. He is really enthusiastic about his job. Great customer service! : )

Great accommodation with friendly approachable staff. Pricing is nice and competitive. The property came under new management in September 2022 which was right when everyone was moving in for 2022, but the new team here handled the transition pretty well. Check in was seamless and felt very welcomed. Hearing of plans for refurbishment on the property at the time of writing so the place will hopefully be receiving some upgrades as well. Great place to stay for people who enjoy calm and quiet.
