Went with friends for a meal, very little GF choice and the salad I ordered only came with 1 of the 2 toppings ordered with no apology or explanation, I asked about it and they had run out of red peppers, would have been nice to have offered an alternative topping. Salad seemed like a bag of unwashed salad leaves emptied into a bowl with a couple of cherry tomatoes chopped up, uninspiring to say the least. Lasagne looked good and were very cheesy with good portion of garlic bread. I know the housewarming is a bird but I found the birdcages all over the ceiling a little overwhelming.

After meeting up with the family for a get together for our mums Birthday we decided to go to the house martin for some drinks. I would personally like to thank the new owner who made us feel very welcome and she was engaging. She made the hot chocolates and gave the kids some spare hot chocolate. The inside of the pub is chaming with little nooks and hide aways to relax.

We had a wonderful experience at the house Martin . We celebrated my mums birthday with a group of 12 . All needing specific menu choices some dietary needs and children AND babies !!!!. It must have been a nightmare for them . The staff went over and above to make sure everything was perfect. Taking photos , making a mini Mac n cheese for one of the very young kids , drinks on tap and generally keeping each and everyone of us happy Brilliant service , lovely staff , lovely restaurant and great food . Thanks for a beautiful day out , and a birthday that we will all remember fondly .
