A lovely spot to stop for drinks and today in the sun the venue was very busy, We managed to get an outdoor table for 2 and had a couple of coffees followed by a couple of wines. The flat white wasn’t good, it’s served in glass and too weak and milky and not hot enough. Basically a latte which I’d normally avoid. But, credit to the staff who were rushed off their feet keeping patrons hydrated in the hot weather and where very pleasant and friendly. Happy to fill a dog bowl for water for the 2 dogs we had with us. We really appreciate the friendly staff working today.

Had the dirty chai drink. Tasted nice enough, but not even close to being a proper chai from Indian shops. Could tell they'd just used a masala mix as opposed to using fresh spices.

Unfortunately, we were asked to leave simply because we had a laptop... we were getting comfy before planning to ultimatley order drinks. We were stared at by whom we believed to be either the owner or manager, and made to feel very unwelcome. When we asked for the wifi password (This same woman disappeared behind the front of house for a good 5-10 mins) we were told to leave before we had the chance to order any drinks, this was a few months back but we have not been back since... with or without laptops. The fact that there was another person at outside who also had a laptop had lead us to believe that this was accepted. We can't understand why we were turned down by the owner or manager on this day and it made us feel very discriminated against, especially as people of colour. We would suggest that maybe you put a sign up asking people not to bring laptops to the space going forth so that no-one else has to go through this experience. Waste of our time making the journey to what we thought was a new and welcoming space/area.

Such a fab place! I live in Bolton and visited a couple of weeks ago.. I have been thinking about the bagels ever since and just had to return! The staff are welcoming and friendly and the decor is great! I sat outside , taking in the lovely views of the marina. I would highly recommend the crayfish bagel and the coffee! I will be back !!
