A two-night stay at Sheffield's The House of Joro On arrival, we were expecting a "hotel-style" establishment, but this was among other flats and buildings in the street. (Which took forever to find.) On arrival, it was like walking into your friend's flat. Haha! A little smelly too. Seating area and fire to the left, and in the centre, a table and kitchen. I was wondering if this was the right place. We collected our keys from a key safe and entered the room. It was lovely and so clean and modern, but there was no bath, which we requested, as you can imagine. There was no one here to speak to. There were three other rooms also located in this "apartment". The welcome of champagne and cookies was very cute and a nice touch! The bed was INCREDIBLY comfortable, and the cleanliness was immaculate! The downside is that the walls are so thin! We could hear all the other guests in their rooms and also outside in the living area. We didn’t get much sleep at all. Furthermore, if you wish to have a lay-in, Then don’t book here. The breakfast lady begins outside at 6 a.m. and delivers it to you with a knock on the door at 8 a.m. As we are not morning people, this was very frustrating as we had to leave the breakfast cart in our room while we got some more sleep. This accommodation is perfect for a group of 8 people who all know each other, as you could use this apartment as you please. I don’t think it is suitable for mixed groups, and it really is too small, noisy, and intimate. Their website is also very misleading, as you do think you are arriving at a hotel, but it is a ground-floor flat! Sadly not one to return to, but thank you for your hospitality.

Came here as part of a dinner/hotel package with their restaurant nearby. Hotel is modern and chic. 4 bedrooms set around a communal lounge/kitchen. Rooms nicely decorated and comfortable. Lovely shower. The hotel and dinning package is the best value we’ve had for such a fantastic experience. We will be back.

A brilliant night away visiting House of Jöro and Jöro. The rooms were gorgeous with a lovely roll top bath in the bedroom and a separate shower room. The breakfast was really lovely too and matched the standard of the food in Jöro. Speaking of the meal… well, oh my word. Outstanding. A brilliant tasting menu and wine flight. The staff were lovely and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. Loved the whole experience.
