A disaster! The hotel is basically and abandoned building turned into a hotel in a few days the state of floor, walls, etc… is appalling they gave me a room on 4th floor which has no Lift as every other hotel in Sussex gardens have lifts. It was an absolute nightmare walking up the stairs then I upgraded to a “family” room in the basement after I complained that 4th floor was a marathon to get to with a bag, and to my surprise the family room was right above the paddinton underground station and everytime a train was going the whole room was vibrating and you could hear the sound of the train as if you were a homeless person sleeping there. The walls are yellowing and peeling the state of the hotel is horrible. Once you start walking up the stairs you realise they look awfully sililar with the ugly features of the stanley hotel in the movie the shining.
