Absolutely perfect! More than we could have hoped for. We are 5 adults, including one couple, great walking all day and fabulous evenings either in the garden, at the huge kitchen table or either of the super sitting rooms. We loved it - we will be back.

This company double booked us into a cottage that was already booked out and when we arrived there was another family already in it. Terrible experience with them, would never use again and highly recommend others stay away.

Lovely cottage and couldn't recommend it highly enough. A short walk from all the hype. A little cottage with a big character. A charming cottage in a nice location (10 min walk to lidl and around the corner from esso) couldn't recommend highly enough. Rooms: Absolutely gorgeous. Nearby activities: Very short walk to the park and around a 5/6 minute walk to whitby. Walkability: A few hills etc but nothing anyone able bodied couldn't handle.

We booked with Ingrid Flute and stayed at Honeypot House in Sleights. I wouldnāt recommend this property. Our experience was very poor, I think itās part of some neighbourhood dispute regarding locals vs. holiday makers and it makes for an unpleasant experience. We were confronted on our first night there by a rather angry neighbour on the doorstep because he thought weād parked outside his house on nearby Lowdale Lane. We hadnāt. The instructions for the house tell you not to park there as itās a private road. But the councils highways register official website tells you itās an adopted road so really I just think that is disingenuous at best and that some people donāt like outcomers. I donāt want to spend my holiday dealing with someone elseās angry neighbours. We left after one night to find somewhere more friendly. The house itself is pretty tired looking⦠like it was decorated in a 1990s colour scheme which would have been popular back then⦠apart from the 2 main bathrooms which were really nice. Things in the kitchen cupboards like glasses and measuring cups werenāt clean and the garbage bins outside were beyond overflowing. In the early hours of the morning we were awakened by people congregating outside talking loudly and using the front garden⦠The fact that we left after one night with six left to go probably says it all. Do yourself a favour and give this one a miss

Lovely location, fantastic seeing the wild life so close to you. The best things about it was the log fire, wild life. I came home having to spend hours in A&E to find I have two fractures in my ankle. There is no banister where the last three stairs are, I slipped on then the morning before we came home
