The staff were great, the gentleman that checked us in was kind and efficient, the food was good and Gail that served me breakfast was lovely and thoughtful. Unfortunately the room was very noisy with doors banging outside and as guests passed talking. Wasn’t able to sleep until after midnight and was then woken at 5am. I think the sound proofing needs addressing as I was tempted to ask if I could change rooms to a quieter area of the hotel. The room was small but functional

Just refurbished in prime location. Quiet, only 2 other tables occupied. Items requested unavailable from, wine list,starters,mains and dessert menus. Rationale given,it's because we're a brand, nothing to do with us,it's up to the bar staff/kitchen staff. Service staff being put in situation of having to try to explain poor service/standards, beyond training and control, so unfair on staff and diners. Food quality poor with mere 20% offer on bill for a poor experience in all areas.
