The doors themselves are beautiful, sturdy and good quality. However, on our doors, there is a design / product issue, where if you push both the doors closed without first securing the bolt on one of the doors, the lever from the bolt rubs on the other door, scraping the paint off. We spoke to the founder who refused to accept this was a design flaw and take the feedback on board. His response was 'why would you have both doors open at the same time?' However, they sent someone to repaint the scratched area on the doors without charge. The issue is, this was always going to happen again at some point with visitors, cleaner, kids etc.This week they were scratched again when a workman opened both the crittall doors to get his stuff through and then pushed them shut again. If I had known about this feature flaw, we would have purchased from somewhere else. Ignoring the 2 scrapes caused by the top and bottom lever design, they look great. UPDATE: following the response below. Thanks for the touch up paint. As I also said during our conversation following the initial damage, it was 100% not explained to me on the day of the install that the lever would scratch the door when pushed closed - adds to the frustration being told something that didn’t happen. Also, your response implies that you have to force close the door with the bolt open to scratch the door. This is certainly not the case - the open lever will scratch the paint off even if the doors are very gently pushed together.
