I bought two umbrellas here in 2017. One of them was a blue William Morris strawberry thief umbrella. The umbrellas cost close to 100 GBP each but I thought they would last a long time. I live in the US but have a home in India too. In winter 2017 I misplaced the umbrella in my house in India without ever having used it. Then came COVID and I could not go to India again until 2022. I took the umbrella to NY in spring break 2023 and used it for the first time there. On the third day, one of the spokes came apart and it became difficult to open and close the umbrella. It also inverted itself in wind, which I hadn't expected of so expensive an item. It' pretty but flimsy and is pretty much garbage now. You pay for the gorgeous ambience but the product is not good.
