What can we say about Jane? We had the pleasure of meeting Jane back in 2017 when searching for a humanist celebrant for our daughter's naming ceremony. We meet a couple of celebrants before meeting Jane, but on meeting Jane it felt right and we connected. Since then, we employed her for our second daughters naming ceremony in 2019. When my now husband got down on one knee and popped the question, I had no doubt in my mind - Jane was going to be our wedding celebrant! Jane is professional at all times, organised, kind and thoughtful, always one step ahead and extremely skilled at writing peoples' stories and telling them in front of a crowd. It is a real gift and we are so grateful she has been our celebrant for three big life occasions. We have since coined her our family celebrant! Our wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful, our guests were raving about it all day and since. A couple of our guests have since said they want to renew their vows with this type of ceremony - and employ Jane! The service touched every emotion and was funny, lots of laughs, as well as a few tears, some cringe moments (for my husband!) and lots of heartfelt moments too. Jane thinks about everything, so it really takes the pressure off bride and groom, every little detail, from the music to the readings, and offers advice, which was very welcomed. Where do we even begin? When planning our wedding me and Jon decided we wanted a humanist ceremony after realising how much a more personalised, relaxed ceremony meant to us! We were recommended Jane and wow, we couldn't of asked for a better person to do our ceremony! Brilliant Day. To give a slight back story... Originally our wedding was planned for June 2020 and like many during the pandemic, and much to our frustration. Our wedding was rearranged several times. Around this time, we had been in regular contact with Jane and whenever we'd met up with her, she'd made us feel at ease and showed real interest and intrigue into our back story as a couple and was ever so easy to get along with. She also showed such genuine compassion and positivity with everything involved in the lead up to the ceremony of our wedding. Fast forward to September 2022 and the big day was here finally! Well, what can we say : Jane did an amazing job! When it came to the ceremony, she was engaging, humourous, confident and lead the room superbly. What also made the ceremony so special, was how personalised Jane made it for us and we were very happy with this as a result. We had THE most wonderful wedding day and it started with Jane being so amazing as our celebrant…the best we could have asked for. She stayed with us through two cancelled weddings and prepared us perfectly from when we first met her, through planning, our rehearsal and on the big day. At the ceremony she warmed up the guests, smiled throughout, inspired us with confidence and reassured us when it was needed. Jane conducted the funeral service for my dear Dad recently. Jane visited my mum and I and spent time chatting with us about Dad, my mother was dreading the whole visit but afterwards mum said "your dad would have really liked Jane and I am so relieved she will be taking the service". On the day Jane was caring, warm and truly kind. We have received so many comments about how wonderful the service was and how it truly reflected my dad, many asked if she had known him. Thank you so much Jane for making what for us was going to be an unbearably painful experience a celebration of dads' life. Jane recently ran the funeral service for my dad, and from the first interaction to the last she was warm, empathetic and very professional. She took great care to make sure the service was what we as a family wanted, rather than what she wanted, and yet still delivered it as if she owned everything. My children had written a speech to their grandad, but we're not able to read it on the day. Jane delivered it brilliantly, with emotion and it was easy to see the effort and preparation she had put in to make sure it did them justice. I cannot praise her highly enough. Jane, thank you for making a difficult time easier for us.

Jane conducted and led a sincere and extremely moving ceremony of tribute to my late husband John's life this week. Her gentle manner and sincere presentation of his life and personality gave insight and credence to a unique man of integrity and kindness. I can highly recommend Jane as the easiest and loveliest of people to work alongside in preparing for a funeral or send-off of a loved one. I have attended many a funeral that is used as a proselytizing platform and it is most unpleasant. None of that here.
