I have been using JC ever since the week I bought my S60 7 years ago. They gave it a thorough once-over for me and were amazing with the replacement of the steering rack which was faulty when I bought the car. They have looked after the car ever since and I trust Jay and John implicitly to give the car everything it needs, and absolutely nothing it doesn't. They know these vehicles inside out, and they have diagnosed any issues first time, every time. No guesswork or trying things to see if it fixes it as I have had with other cars at non-specialist garages in the past. Now the car is approaching 200k miles I have no doubt that their knowledge and experience in preventative maintenance will keep this car on the road for many miles to come. In addition, they have always provided me with the fantastic, no frills customer service you want from a family business and have always been incredibly flexible, fitting me in around their, and my busy schedules. JC have only ever used genuine/OEM parts on my car - so I never worry they will be using cheap rubbish. They seemingly have all of the typical 'consumables' stock any of which means I rarely have to wait for parts to come in. There are also some donor cars in the yard fo parts - which have saved me a quid or two over the years! When it was time to replace our other car, another Volvo was the obvious choice as I simply cannot imagine using another garage. JC are a credit to the Volvo marque and I dare say many dealerships could learn a thing or two from them! Top marks chaps and I look forward to using you for many years to come. We have used JC Garage since 2009, they were recommended by our neighbours. First for a 960 and now a 2000 reg V70. The team at JC Garage have been brilliant at keeping them on the road – we only said goodbye to the 960 as it guzzled petrol! We plan to keep the V70 for another couple of years and will then seek Jay’s advice about a replacement. A year or so ago I watched Jay and his dad change the front struts on the V70 it was amazing, like watching a finely tuned machine. We will not go anywhere else.

DO NOT USE! This is a small shop and the pictures don't lie! Whilst they may seem to offer friendly service per the other feedback, they are wholly unreliable. Contacted multiple times without answers and then got through and booked a service & MOT only to arrive on the day to find out they are closed! As mentioned, tried to give them a chance to avoid the big dealership but it's clear why they are are specialist! i.e. specialist in being incompetent. Service: General repairs & maintenance
