I booked a bouncy castle and soft play in November for my sons first birthday party last week, they took a deposit in December and all the details. I messaged a week before as I hadn’t had a time for set up and got no reply, I chased up the next day but still nothing. I then saw a review on Google from a couple of days earlier to say they had done the same and then not turned up on the day so I knew I had to sort something else. The party came and went and still no contact, didn’t turn up and no word on my now missing deposit. Really disappointing as had I not have seen the other review, I would have been left high and dry yesterday with a lot of upset children. Hate leaving bad reviews as often things happen where something comes up but I’ve had no communication and no reply to my messages despite taking my money, I don’t want anyone else to be out of pocket and without what they’ve booked as I wasn’t the first this month it’s happened to.

AVOID THIS COMPANY! I booked a bouncy castle for my daughters 3rd birthday party on the 6th December 2022 for a party at the end of January 2023. I paid the deposit and since then had no messages from JJ inflatables. I checked a week before the party to confirm the booking and the night before with no reply. Of course they never arrived at the party so let down a room full of 3-5 year olds! Called mulltipul times on the day and did not answer the phone. They have yet to reply to any of my messages on Facebook, what’s app or email despite being online. Disgraceful from a children’s party entertainment company.

Had horrible experience with this company today. We have had bouncy castle booked in since 29th August for our 4 year old’s birthday party at local scout hut, deposit paid on 30th August. This was his first ever birthday party. We used company as we live in Reddish and want to support local business. We even checked during the week if everything OK, and were told all was fine. They were supposed to arrive at 10 and pick up at 1:30. The party was running from 11 til 1. My partner tried to contact them a couple of times from 10. Eventually got a msg at 10:37 saying he was going to be late because he has ‘dropped his phone’. Then at 11:35 got another msg saying his satnav said he was 9 minutes away. They eventually turned up at 11:50. No apologies or sense of how much stress they had caused or how much of a letdown for the children this was. They set up, then we could smell burning smell. He said this was electrics and he should charge us for his extension lead. I ran home to get replacement extension. When I return, bouncy castle has been set up, and my partner says the two guys said they were not going to leave without their full money. It is hard to think of how they could have done a worse job. All you have to do is turn up on time, plug in the inflater and be generally friendly and no bother. None of which these guys were seemingly capable of. Venue tested plug afterwards and it seemed completely fine. If anyone is thinking of using this company, I would strongly advise you to bear the above in mind. It was the only very sour note on what was a wonderful day.

I can’t praise JJ’s Inflatables enough, the staff are lovely and happy to help. I booked the disco dome for one day and it was delivered bang on time and set up in no time, the kids loved it so much that I asked if we could keep it till the following day and luckily it wasn’t booked out so we got it for the weekend. I highly recommend this company.
