Reviews speak for themselves but I'd like to write a few words. Been a postman around the fulford area for the last few years(so hopefully I'd like to think I'm trusted). Saw Luke whilst he was doing some work down Heslington Lane, always friendly and polite when I walked past, quality of work looked really good and I did knock on the customer's door to ask if they were happy with timekeeping... quality... pricing etc. Heard some horror stories especially doing my job and seen my fair share of cowboys with shoddy work so I'm very cautious! Decided to ask Luke to come to my house and give me a quote for some work, arrived on time, took some measurements, very informative and what and how the work will be done, couldn't be happier and he got the job! Each day the team arrived on time, worked hard and ALWAYS cleaned up before they headed home! Fantastic finish and couldn't be happier! Also my mother has had some work done from them, she's delighted with the finish on her house too! Some of you who live in the Fulford/Fordlands area may recognise my name, so I'm more than happy to stop and chat to you about JLR roofing. I can definitely recommend them! Like I say, so many horror storys but these guys are the real deal! Cheers guys

Full roof re-tiled and replaced, loft insulated and boarded. Luke, Max, Andy, Tom and all the team were great from day one. Luke gave a very clear and fair quote, even came in under price quoted as was able to sell on some old tiles and reuse some materials. The team tidied up each day, even washing neighbours car and cleaning guttering as good will gesture. Always friendly, polite and kept informed of dates/progress and responsive to any queries. Neighbours also commented on how roofers very considerate. Absolute pleasure to highly recommend a local, honest and skilled family business. With the relentless rain we discovered a leak, came recommended from a friend - Luke came out arrived when he said - had a look with the drone and then went and fixed the blocked drain, there is more work that needs doing (only apparent when got up there) but given this experience have no hesitation in asking him to fix this for us. He explained everything and what needs doing both short term and long term. Really appreciate the professional approach he has and would have no hesitation in recommending him if you need any work doing or have any issues with your roof. We are buying an old terrace house in York and needed a roof survey done to ensure the various roofs are not needing any major works and will get through the winter. Luke was very responsive and professional. He completed the survey using a drone and produced an indepth report and quotation with high quality photos. The report breaks out all the remedial action required in the short term as well as a road map to medium term and longer-term remedial projects along with budget costs making it much more affordable. The report also provides suggestions should we consider replacing the entire house roofing. Excellent work Luke and fantastic to know contractors with great customer skills are out there.
