The guys at JMC were amazing! From the early stages of getting a quote right up to the removal day- you couldn't ask for a better or friendlier service. On the day of my move the guys arrived promptly, worked REALLY hard throughout the day and barely stopped! They were polite and respectful and took care of my belongings. They really did make my move as stress free as it could have been and I would highly recommend JMC to anyone looking for a reliable service. I am very sad to report that after good service with providing quotes to pack & our elderly mother & to move us, removal day was an absolute nightmare. We were still moving house at 19.30 as instead of having 2 different teams on the day of removal (as per the quotes received -2 different prices) the same team were provided to move our mother from Hythe to Eastleigh & then loading us up to move us less than a mile away, still within Eastleigh. It really was a shocking & stressful day. We were even left waiting for wardrobe boxes that we had booked, we were given 2 initially for a family of 4 & told that more would arrive later in the day. These never arrived so consequently we ended up clearing the items ourselves in the back of our cars. So very disappointed with this & now lack of communication in dealing with our complaint. We know this company took on another booking for the same removal day as ours so due to this, a complete lack of service was given to us I have only just seen yr reply & Ive never read such utter rubbish in my whole life. We were not still packing on yr arrival, I was accused of having to still pack my kitchen up when these were the 1st boxes u loaded in to the van that had arrived & been emptied from a trip made from my mother in laws. You can not deny that we shared vans with my mother in law, you know that is fact. This is why confusion kicked in over items still needing to b packed as my mother in law was unpacking. We even ended up with boxes of her belongings in with our removals. It was a complete sham! I have no clue why u r making reference to cousins, non of our cousins even live locally!! The tip given by my mother in law was just £10 between 3 guys so dont make out you had some wonderful feedback. A few of her things even got broken. I would never recommend yr services to anybody!! I had an online quote which was confirmed with a home visit. A week later, I was all packed and on my way to my new place +100 miles away. Pete is a really friendly and professional person, and made sure all my questions were answered and I understood the process. I opted to pack my own possessions but they do offer that service. In hindsight, packing a house is a lot of effort (more effort than expected) so it’s worth bearing that in mind. On the day, Pete’s team arrived promptly. They were polite, courteous, and handled my boxes and bags with care. They even helped me dismantle a 3 seater sofa which was otherwise too big to carry. I was able to clean each room as they emptied them which was a bonus. The team worked hard to pack 2 lorries in 2.5hrs so if you do use their service, please make sure the kettle is the last thing you pack - they deserve and energy and hydration. I bought them a Costa coffee as an extra thank you as this move wasn’t something I could have done on my own! :D

I have used JMC for two house moves in the past 7 years and they've been great both times. Last move was about a month ago and although I know how busy they are, they were very accomodating with all the date changes with our chain changing completion dates. On the day, they arrived promptly and all the guys worked so hard. They made it look so easy, with a smile on their face, all day long. Such nice people! They were the best priced, lovely to deal with, honest and fast on the day. Wouldn't hesitate using them again and recommending them! A no brainer for a move around Chandlers Ford!
