Okay for a short stay. Room key lock didn't work - couldn't lock up my room so had to get security to lock it for me which isn't great. Also, bathroom toilet seat wasn't clean and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, so I couldn't even clean the seat. Overall I would recommend if you're on a limited budget and if you are planning on spending minimal time in the hotel room(e.g. you just need a room to sleep), otherwise I would say spend an extra 10/£20 and you can get something better.

Had the pleasure of spending a single night here, but if you needed this for short term accom or for the uni year, the staff are lovely, and receptive. There was 2 issues with other residents while I was here, and the staff seemed genuinely concerned and helpful.

On the hottest day on record in the UK with “extreme heat” alert, I was assigned a room at the top of the building at the attic. Next to the room was a “Plant” room which I assumed contains the boiler and made noise on and off. The heat was intolerable and I was barely able to get any sleep. Furthermore, being at the attic means, in addition to having to walk up/down 4 floors when getting in/out of the hall, I also have to go up/down the stairs to get to the bathroom and the kitchen. Super awful.
