Fantastic service. After a hick-up with some very expensive flooring in our new bathroom, we needed to get a replacement fast. We visited a couple of well-known flooring shops who couldn't help us, then we remembered John's carpets round the corner from us. The lady was really helpful, going through dozens of sample books and checking stock availability until we found the perfect one. Best of all they got it delivered for collection within 2 working days and even provided the door tread for free. We won't even consider going anywhere else now and love the fact that they are a small, family-run business. Whole-heartedly recommended.

Two stars for the first visit and initial consultation. We wanted our hall, stairs & landing done on a budget and a time frame. Our first visit was lovely - no hassle, no pressure - and we were welcome to borrow samples to check colour match. Recieved personable & friendly service. We decided on the carpet, booked a measuring appointment, and were told we'd get a quote within a couple of days and the fitting could take place after a couple of weeks, well within our time limit, without a problem. We were also promised fitting of some laminate flooring we had for in a small bathroom with no problem. We never got the quote, even after we went in to chase it. Ended up going to a chain carpet fitter and having to make special arrangements for the fitting. Very unprofessional to make promises to a customer and then renege.
