Very disappointing. Cool location, and starters were fine, but there was a 40 min gap for our Sunday dinner to come out with no explanation. Finally received my £25 rib eye and it was cooked through, no pink (wasn't given the option to say how I wanted it cooked, so presumed medium rare). No one came to check how the food was so just left it. Tried everyone else's meat and it was over cooked, and the Yorkshires were rock solid - which after a 40 min wait I guess that makes sense. Complained when they came to take the meal and to be fair they did offer a hefty discount. For premium prices would expect a lot better. Have had it recommended a lot so maybe it was an off day.

We had our wedding reception at Jones & Sons in April and I honestly cannot recommend it more. From the minute we met with the team, we knew we were in safe hands. Chloe was incredible in the lead-up in answering all of our questions and making sure everything ran perfectly. The day ran like a dream with our guests raving about the (incredible) food, drinks, venue and team. Huge thanks to everyone at J&S for the best of days. A few of us went for a Sunday roast to celebrate a birthday, real mixed experience. The food was pretty good, but wasn’t very hot. The service had been good, but then the staff tried to move us on 10 minutes early when we’d been “graciously” allocated a 2 hour slot for 5 people. If you’re going to run your restaurant in slots, don’t try and cheat people out of the time they’re due. Left a bad taste in the mouth.
