I describe my life before having Jonty as my coach as having no focus. I know I have the dream of making a lot of money by having my own business. However, I was not making any significant progress. Being self-aware (I’ve trained myself to have some degree of self-awareness), I knew that the cause is my “shiny object syndrome.” I get so easily attracted to money-making opportunities week after week. One week I read about someone making thousands of dollars selling online courses - that I get excited and chart my life towards that direction - the next week I move to writing ebooks, then starting an e-commerce store and it goes on and on. I was busy but not making progress. When I worked with Jonty, he pinned me down to what exactly I want most to achieve. He asked loads of question that made me think of my situation from a different “lens.” After we’ve determined that goal I will be committing myself to, he then guided me, again by his brilliant questioning, to come up with a system to accomplishing it. Three months into working with Jonty I’m really proud to say I accomplished the following: 1. I’m making progress towards my “extra income” goals. Not yet there but I’m getting there. 2. I am more focused now. I have been focused on “the one” route that will help me achieve my income goal as opposed to trying one this week and another the following week and so on. 3. I have developed more confidence that I can achieve anything I will get my head into. It’s not because I’m great but it’s the side-effect of getting coached by Jonty. I have unconsciously followed the thought process and system behind goal-setting with our coaching sessions. Jonty has become this kind of small voice in my mind. When I have a task at my day job, it’s as if I hear Jonty’s voice saying, “Ben, how are you going to accomplish that?” Then I start the planning. Thank you, Jonty! You have changed my life, literally, from being a "wanderer" to a "man on a mission."
