I had my wedding hair and makeup done by Karen this April and I was so happy with the results. I don't tend to wear much makeup day to day, so I wasn't sure what I wanted to go for, and Karen was brilliant at helping me decide what would suit my skin tone and colouring. The trial day was brilliant, and Karen made me feel so comfortable. I spent some time thinking about the overall look, and asked if we could make some changes for the big day, which Karen was happy to accommodate. The day of the wedding, Karen arrived and was AMAZING at helping me calm my nerves. The final makeup and hair look were exactly as I'd asked with the little tweaks we discussed. I'm not one to wear formal dresses and makeup, but Karen worked her magic and I felt so comfortable in my new look. What a wonderful day ! We thoroughly recommend Karen and her wonderful assistant Carol. Our bride’s hair and make up were perfect and stayed in place throughout rain, wind and several hours of dancing. Karen and Carol quietly and efficiently managed 10 quite varied hair dos and four make-ups in a somewhat tight schedule . The whole bridal party were very happy with the results and felt confident and beautiful. Karen paid great attention to the bride during our trial and worked out the perfect hairstyle . Don’t think, just book with Karen! She is the most amazing, friendly and talented person and made me feel and look so special for my wedding day. As a non-makeup wearer I had absolutely no idea what to ask for originally but Karen gave so much guidance on finding photos I liked and helped me understand what would work for my skin. I definitely recommend booking a trial, as it really made a difference to the finished looked! I had so many compliments on my makeup and hair through the day. She’s a joy to be around and completely put me at ease.
