This is a famous station due to its association with the railway children film and is very well looked after. I had a great time and got a warm welcome from the volunteer staff. The young lady who was crewing the tea bar was particularly helpful and was very knowledgeable about the railway. The gents toilets were delightfully primative and brought back schoolday memories when similar facilities were the norm. I love the overall authentic feel to Oakworth station.
