We stayed at Kell House for the second time recently. Our stay was even better than before. Heather and Jonathan our hosts were absolutely great and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our Room was very comfortable and their breakfast was to die for. Jonathan makes his own biscuits, shortbread, jams and marmalade which luckily for me we could buy and take home! We will definitely return to Kell House

I recently stayed at Kell House and highly recommend anyone planning on being in the area to stay there. Heather and Jonathan would have to be the best hosts I have ever had at a bed and breakfast place.Amazing renovations ( take a look at the renovations books) and the cutes dog as well.I will be staying there again next time Iam over from Australia.

Absolutely superb! We were really lucky to find this gem. Everything was really clean and fresh, our room and I think most of the house had been renovated recently. Heather and Jonathan were very warm and welcoming and made our stay effortless. Their Breakfast is amazing!

Excellent in every respect. This was my second night on the 6 Dales Trail (Otley to Middleham), and after the walk from Timble (13.5 miles), I was very tired, but the welcome was fantastic and everything I could have needed was provided. The house is Victorian but done up to very modern standards, with little photo books showing the restoration work that has been done in each room. The room was bright and clean and fresh. The bed was very comfortable and then, after an excellent breakfast, I was ready for the next leg of the walk (another 13 miles). If anyone else is attempting the 6 Dales Trail, you won't find a better stay than this.

Loved our stay at Kell House which has been beautifully restored. Heather and Jonathan had thoughtfully provided everything to make our stay comfortable and homely. Lots of walks from Pateley Bridge which is in the heart of Nidderdale, which is charming and beautiful. Eateries within walking distance for evening meals. Home cooked food was delicious, vegan breakfasts excellent too, thank you! Hope to return and would thoroughly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer!
