The default position is go to Urgent Care Center in Colchester or call 111. You can't book appointments in advance and are just told to call at 8 am, then when you do They have no appointments so to call the next day, rinse repeat for 5 days and you go to a urgent care anyway. They are unfit for purpose of your 4 year old can't see a GP without a 4 week notice period.

For my most recent experience I would like to give no stars for the Operations Manager. The GP and nurses may be great but I couldn't get to them to find out the care I needed. Blocked at every turn because of 'the system'. Flagrant disregard for my care needs in being repatriated to the UK following an accident abroad. Flying home tomorrow. No meds set up for my return. No appointment for next week (call on the day!!). Appalled by lack of care

If only I could give no star that be even better not only receptionist is rude but pass the sell by date should really retired by now and the manager lady absolutely no clue put my prescription repeat nearly a week ago and still has not been done and she mention it virtually been done today and she even had the cheek asking me to download NHS apps to have repeat prescription order as the written prescription sometimes get missed well that really assuring and she even mentioned every thing is running on time but don't know why this happened and it not the first time.I think blind leading the blind here absolutely zero clueless and definitely useless should really closed down the whole surgery. When i mentioned i need to let my doctor know. She forwarded me the order number incase the boots chemist ain't got the items i can go other pharmacy to get it even the request went in nearly 1 week ago absolutely joke. They really need covert check in this surgery preferably closed it down

If I could give no stars I would!! Appalling patient care. Receptionist Amanda unhelpful, rude and has a very poor level of care or sympathy towards patients needs. Tried to make an appointment this morning and was told they no longer book “face to face” appointments and I need to call 111 to be triaged. When I explained the severity and risks related to my call and the need to be seen I was told I could make a phone call consultation next Friday. Since merging with the health centre and the change in staff, this surgery has continued to decline in its patient care. Really needs investigation from CQC

Finally a satisfactory level of service. My elderly parents are now able to be seen face to face on the same day or the following day. Dr Gill has been wonderful to them. The level of care they have been receiving over the last couple of months is certainly well overdue. Keep up the good work!
