My go-to bar when looking for cocktails or wine in a relaxed yet spirited environment! Very dog friendly. The team are always friendly, chatty and professional - really knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations. Can usually walk in for a table if there are 2-3 of you but better to book for weekend evenings.

What a shame. I went here with my partner a few times, really liked the place (the one in St George's Place); nice wine and cheese and vibe, but my partner left her hat and gloves behind when we went once, so I went back to try and find them for her, but the woman working there refused to look for them. Very odd behaviour. Anyway, she then said she would call me if she found them, which she subsequently did. I said I'd be in in the next few days, but when we returned, they had thrown them out! Even though we had said we were going to return within a week (which we did). Quite frankly this is appalling customer service and so they won't be getting any more custom from us. Very disappointing. We'll be demanding that they pay my partner the cost of the items, one of which was a treasured beret from France.

Sorry to say but I found it quite disappointing. The cocktails were bland and flavourless, not what I expected for the very high prices. Brighton BYOB drinks were a much higher quality. The place looks good though and the staff were friendly.

Excellent service, high qaulity wine and great cheese board. Friendly knowledgable staff, an extensive choice of liqueurs and some quite rare, atmospheric decor and my personal favourite mixture of jazz. One of our favourite wine bars.
