    I first contacted Jim when I was preparing a Masterclass in "Writing for Sync" and needed to hire an instructor that was experienced, talented and also an engaging teacher. After my initial conversation, Jim gave me incredible confidence in his ability to execute. Despite the very short turn around time to prepare the curriculum and start the course, he blew all of my expectations out of the water. The attendees of the class each created an original piece of music with specific sync objectives in mind. Jim hosted 'office hours' for feedback and revision and the works that came from the course were nothing shy of epic! In fact, may were then submitted to a panel of professional music supervisors for a music writing competition and the 1st place winner came from his class. Jim has an incredible way with people and composition. Following the course, we asked him to continue working with us, leading a writing group that have gone on to receive featured placements in Disney, HBO, Netflix, Amazon, CBS Sports, Monster Energy and many more productions. One of Jim's pieces was recently used as a film trailer for 'Persuasion'. Jim is equally talented at writing / composing / producing as he is at mentoring others and helping them grow as artists.
