I cannot recommend Laura enough! My dream wedding dress was black and white but I cannot find it in any store, so I decide to have it handmade by a professional and I found Laura! She is wonderful, her talent and creativity are amazing. On our first appointment I explain to her that I'd like to have a black and white dress and she was very happy to realize my dream. Laura, where do I start?! I admit I found you by accident whilst down the rabbit hole of the Instagram world, looking for something special and unique for our little girl to wear on our wedding day and thank goodness I did! I kind of knew what I wanted, but I just couldn’t picture it or describe it in detail and somehow from my ramblings you created it! Your sketches are amazing, but what you created was better. I needed P to be in harmony with my dress but still for it to represent her and be practical for a 2.5 year old and you created just that! You managed to work with a stroppy threenager and a stressed out bride, making the visits to you, enjoyable and a relief knowing it would all be okay! Cannot sing your praises enough, everyone should have an LF bespoke experience!

I’d never really thought about having a bespoke wedding dress, but when a friend recommended Laura it made perfect sense as I wanted something unique! I came to Laura with (a lot of) images I’d saved on Pinterest, and we chatted through what I liked about each dress and preferred shapes/styles based on how I usually dress. Over the next few weeks, Laura then produced the most beautiful sketches for 16 different designs! Laura’s ideas were amazing and I honestly loved every single one, but we narrowed it down to a few of my absolute favourites, and Laura developed a new design incorporating all my favourite bits - a fitted, lined crepe dress (which didn't crease at all, it was the best fabric!) with organza "cloud" sleeves and the most dreamy, removable tulle overskirt adorned with dozens of flowers which she made by hand! It was honestly the most exciting process ever (I would recommend it over dress shopping any day), and Laura made me feel so special throughout. I can honestly say I love my dress more than any dress I've ever seen. It was perfect. Laura is so talented and just a gorgeous person too. Thank you so, so much for making me feel like a Queen on my special day, and in the run up to it too! I can’t recommend Laura enough 💕 We also treated ourselves to two LF stockings for Xmas, and once again I’m blown away. They’re just beautiful – such incredible attention to detail and gorgeous fabrics.

I cannot recommend Laura enough in every possible way. For my wedding she made me a feather edged veil which detached from a gorgeous hand embellished vintage style hair piece/comb as well as a similar comb for my mum. Aside from Laura herself being the most lovely and charming person, she works closely with you to refine your ideas, is able to translate your ramblings into lovely sketches, will explain why certain approaches or solutions may be better, updates you throughout the process, advises without overpowering your ideas and gives direction on caring for your garments too. Laura will also collaborate with you on any changes needed to achieve what you want within your budget. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship are incredible, her eye for detail is exceptional and her practical knowledge guarantees garments that are both beautiful and functional. I love my husband but remarrying might be worth it just to work with Laura again. Don't bother looking anywhere else!

Laura is a genius. Your wedding outfit is an investment and with Laura you don’t just get a dress (or in my case a top and a skirt that I will be wearing again!). You get the absolutely wonderful experience of having someone with her skill designing something that is bespoke, just for you, and sharing in the experience of developing it from some ideas and a bit of pinterest, into a drawing, then a toile, and then the final outfit. She makes sure it’s a dress you will feel comfortable in, can dance in, and fits to perfection. My outfit was completed with floral and beaded embroidery that was designed and made just for my dress, and was exquisite. Can’t recommend Laura enough!
