Buratta starter and lemon tart dessert were outstanding. The pasta dishes I expected to be of similar level but I would describe them as above average 😬. The portions look tiny when they arrive but you don’t leave hungry, but only just! Decor cute, very loud (resembles canteen noise). Reasonably priced. I’ve glad I’ve finally been to Lina Stores but it’s doubtful I’ll return.

Good Italian food and friendly service, but not worth the money. The portions have been cut in half due to shrinkflation, and you will leave hungry and unsatisfied. The truffle pasta was tasty, but too small to enjoy. The other dishes looked good, but I didn’t get to try them. The worst was the Italian breaded chicken, which was supposed to feed two people, but it was just a plain cutlet that wouldn’t fill up one small girl. The only thing you can get enough of is the foccaccia from the deli, but that’s not why you come to an Italian restaurant! I would recommend this place, but only if they start feeding people properly, because this practice of shrinking portions and keeping the prices is very disappointing! Edit: I was so disappointed with my last visit to the restaurant. They used to serve generous portions of delicious food, but now they have cut down on the size and quality. I decided to write a complaint on google maps, hoping they would listen to their loyal customers. But guess what? They replied with the most ridiculous suggestion ever. They said: "Just order more to fill you up!" I think they missed the point completely. I don't want to pay more for less food. I want them to go back to their old standards. How hard is that to understand? Their response was not helpful at all. It was just insulting and funny in a bad way.

The team were the perfect balance of being attentive and letting you take your time to enjoy your meal, even with a full house. Now I think back, it's even more impressive that we never felt rushed but always had someone to hand when we wanted to order anything. Everything we ordered came quickly, and the decor is really nice but not over the top. A restaurant that ultimately lets it's food speak for it, and is conscious of how everything around the plate in front of you is there to add to what's on it. Simple dishes that held their complexity in their flavour and in the care that's taken over them. Care that's not seen, but felt

Average dinner at this place. I went as a party of 6 for an early bite to eat. The decor (colour and style) is appealing, especially the bathrooms. But the acoustics are pretty bad in the middle of the restaurant - very much school canteen vibes. It was hard to hold proper conversations. As to the food: I chose the Spaghetti alla Chitarra con Limone di Amalfi e Pepe Rosa for my main. It was utterly underwhelming. V small portion sizes and not a sophisticated taste. The Amarena Cherry ice cream for dessert was good. Ditto the rhubarb spritz cocktail. The waiter was friendly and helpful, but service generally wasn’t slick. Overall, it was certainly not dreadful. But I do not have any desire to return.
