Worst car buying experience EVER. Had our car written off in an accident, went and found a car we liked. Left a £500 deposit as we were waiting for insurance money from third party company. Staff at Trade Centre promised the world - “don’t worry, we’ll look after you, just keep us posted and we will save the car for you”. We were called every couple of days (ie, harassed) even though we asked them not to call as husband was on nights. Finally got our money after 2 and a half weeks, called them to say we would come the following day only to be told that the car was no longer for sale as it had an outstanding safety recall. Told we couldn’t have the deposit back as taken too long! Called collections manager who found me another car (same model). Went to see it - scratched to high heaven! Salt in the wound was that the original car was parked up out of the way! Had to argue and get stroppy but eventually got deposit back. Now left with 2 days of rental vehicle and we don’t have a car. Avoid this place!
