He's a genuinely nice guy and answered all my questions with no sense of condescension (unlike other consultants I've dealt with). Also, has a fantastic team around him from the anesthesiologists to his wonderful secretary Sharon.

Excellent cardiologist– exceeded all expectations. Cannot recommend enough - Professor Jamil Mayet: Professor Mayet has seen my mother on 3 occasions over the years. He sorted out her problems efficiently at a time when other consultant cardiologists had planned unnecessary invasive procedures He combines a rare package of being up to date and on top of his game, with being an excellent communicator and listener. It is obvious that he cares deeply about the quality of his work and about his patients. He was courageous, but careful, in challenging my mother’s (previously wrong) diagnosis. He is kind and has a level of humility that is rare in someone with such a high level of expertise. He took time to understand my mother’s fears and beliefs. He explained things in a straightforward manner in a way that she could understand. He made her feel safe. We cannot recommend him highly enough and I hope this review demonstrates that. London Cardiovascular Clinic: Professional and kind staff with a warm welcoming attitude who understand patients’ anxieties. Welcoming and relaxed environment in which we were made to feel like individuals. Very positive experience. I highly recommend it.
