The location is convenient to the tube. Right outside is St. Paul's cathedral. Check in was friendly and efficient but they held to their 3:00 p.m. check in time. Hilton honors complimentary breakfast was sufficient. Its a $15 discounted rate for three people or more or additional rooms. The bathrooms showers are fantastic. I like the quirky sense of humor displayed. Hotel is quiet. I would stay here again.

Always reluctant to give a five star review, but I’m not sure there is much to improve from our last stay here. The hotel is in an excellent location, convenient to trains, shops and restaurants of all kinds. The room is well appointed and even the table at the end of the bed, thought at first unwanted, came in a nice place for an afternoon sit.

I think it’s important to start off this review by saying that there is a LOT to love about this hotel. You absolutely can’t beat the location. It’s safe, great transportation access, quiet (for London), lots of great food offerings nearby, etc. We also experienced great service from start to finish and the breakfast each day was top notch. The rooms are also cute and modern - tiny as expected in London. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was spotlessly clean. So why deduct a star? The room category we had was a base king and the window is not only sealed shut but frosted and you can’t see outside. Light does come through but mix it with the tiny room and it becomes really pretty claustrophobic. Luckily in London you aren’t really doing anything except sleeping but it’s still a big issue and nothing in their Hilton app booking page mentions this. The front desk didn’t have any other rooms available and acknowledged that they were aware it was an issue with the hotel design. Also, the pocket doors to the bathroom are very difficult to close and frequently got stuck once the shower was on and the wood expanded. I would stay here again - but only if I could get a room with a real window.

The hotel is quite new, well sound-proofed from exterior noise, and in a terrific location. The decor is lovely and modern. The coffee shop was nice. Other than those things, we had a most disappointing stay. Our room was tiny (barely larger than the bed). In central London that wasn’t totally unexpected but the window in the room was fully frosted opaque and did not open. This made the room feel even smaller. The bed was quite uncomfortable and the pillows were too soft and nearly flat. We called for other pillows and they had no other kind on offer so they stuffed two pillows in a case to try to accommodate our request. That was the best staff interaction we had. Every other interaction with hotel staff at the desk and in the restaurant (not the coffee shop) was frustrating. Their customer service was disinterested at best and dismissive & rude at worst. Perhaps it was because we booked via Expedia or perhaps it was due to the busyness of the time (we happened be there over the King’s Coronation) — but given the class, type, and the price of the hotel, we were unprepared for such a poor experience.

Really nice London hotel. Actually felt like a valued guest, which doesn't happen often. Front desk staff is great, and try to go the extra mile wherever they can. Rooms are really nice, I would say the pictures don't do them justice. Comfortable beds and good water pressure in the showers. Oh, and they have a quite solid breakfast buffet in the morning.
