    This used to be the best takeaway around, food was faultless as was the service. Since the change of hands everything is dire,the quality of food in particular. We have tried several times over the past few months to give the benefit of the doubt, but have been disappointed on every occasion. Sadly shall never use again.

    Sadly we didn’t have a good experience with this takeaway service. We ordered with a 40 min delivery time due at 8pm. We received our food after 9pm. The delivery driver was polite and apologetic offering us a discount next time we order. Sadly the food was just not good enough that we would want to order from there again. The naan bread was stale and inedible poppadoms were shop bought not fresh. The ‘hand crafted’ samosas were no such thing just shop bought again. Lastly the curries we ordered themselves were tasteless and very oily. Most of the food went in the bin we only had a couple of tablespoons of each curry to try before giving up. If you are on a diet and want the anticipation of ordering a takeaway as a ‘cheat’ day but have to stay in your calories then go for it!! I went to bed hungry and disappointed. Next time I’ll Just get an M&S meal deal. Shame as we like supporting local businesses where possible.

    Truly awful. Veg curry was made from obviously cheap frozen mixed veg. Cauliflower curry was obviously frozen veg as well. Chicken tikka was dry. Naan was like a supermarket one. Wont be using them again

    A big disappointment for Hullbridge. Ordered food at 5.30pm for delivery at 6.30pm. Order was not processed until after 7 (not their fault apparently). Called and they said my order was with the kitchen. Food didn't arrive until 8.40pm and the delivery driver was annoyed as I didn't offer him a tip. To add to that they had missed the rice from my order which meant I had to cook my own. What a shame. Last order from Lubards.

    We used to use Lubbards Tandoori all the time, then we read some reviews about them having a new chef and the reviews were not so good. BUT tonight we have just had a takeaway and it was amazing, Turned up on time, food was hot, very tasty. 10/10 highly recommend.

    After our food being delivered 35 minutes earlier than we were advised (this sounds good but we were still putting our children to bed), we tucked into our Indian. The biryani was just lamb and rice, with no flavour (I’m sure it normally has a bit of other things in there), the vegetable curry just tasted of veg, no curry flavour at all! The Balti Chicken Tikka, the chicken was tough and again no flavour whatsoever to the curry! A bland tasteless meal, this is how much we ate from our plates. Hardly anything! So disappointed! We would call and complain but we complained about the food arriving after 10 mins (when we were told 45 mins) and no one seemed at all bothered! We won’t be ordering again!
