Booked for a weekend getaway and a day out at Cheshire Oaks. All the staff are great and very helpful. The hotel itself is quite tired, need a really good make over. We had one of the top rooms which had a seperate living room, there was laots of space a good size wardrobe with hangers but no drawers! The food was nice, quite a limited menu but cooked well. We used the Spa for a massage, we had the 55 min Back massage and facial, the back massage for both of us was poor, but the facial for both of us was brilliant.

Rooms: The room we stayed in seemed like it needed some TLC. Also the room was very warm in the night. Bed comfortable enough. Food & drinks: Evening meal was nice, breakfast was a little disappointing. Under cooked meat items. Noteworthy details: Spa looked nice, we used the pool. Decent but maybe not so good for kids.

We stayed here last week for 2 weekday nights. Great hotel in the Chester area for access to different places to visit. Staff were 10*, answered all questions, always friendly and approachable, super helpful - can't fault them. Evening meals were incredible. The chicken with charred corn was top notch. No issue with catering to my peanut/tree nut allergy at all. Use of pool and facilities next door were fab. Rooms were a little outdated decor wise, but a really good size (we had standard double on GF) and were clean. Towels and bedding were checked/replaced etc each day. (Please note photos taken of room at end of our stay!) Breakfast was good but a little slow on the one day but perfectly fine in terms of quality and quantity. Again, no issue with catering to my peanut/tree nut allergy at all. I would note the prices for some of the dishes online say there is a £3 extra charge, but was £5 on the menu given in the hotel.
