We stayed here a few years ago and the experience was terrible - when we arrived with two small kids, the door was locked and there was no answer when we rang the bell. We waited and called the mobile number but no luck. After 1 hour of waiting and trying to reach the owners we were able to slip into the hotel with another guest and could at least put the kids to sleep on the sofa in the lobby. When finally someone arrived and let us in, there were only three beds prepared instead of four. The promised breakfast buffet was closed and we got an lousy excuse of packaged stuff instead. Terrible experience.

Room 6 is very noisy from the working kitchen from 4am until gone 11pm. Banging, chopping, not much time left to sleep. Also a gentleman managed to come into my locked room whilst I was in bed, he opened it with the key from room 2. Very worrying for personal safety or security of your personal items

Such a great place to stay in! We keep on coming to Macy's hotel as we absolutely love it!! Chingford is a great place to relax and people very friendly. Very gay friendly as well so that is a great plus for the hotel and the area. We stayed last year at Macy's hotel,love it and now we enjoying 11 days more.lots of nice restaurant and fast-food, great Indian restaurant right at the bottom of the hotel as well with minutes walk you have many other restaurants to choose from. With 15/20 min walk you have the Queen's hunting Lodge with stunning views and lovely suroundings. You can take bus 444 from Chingford station and at the end, last station you can rich shopping area as well in return come back with the same bus 444 at were you left before.you can as well have proper English breakfast at a great price but have a look in to it. we absolutely love it.
