Really fantastic experience. The restaurant is in a ballroom-style room that is well appointed. The service is prompt and cordial. The food was served hot and my chicken was well prepared. The menu will appeal to many palettes and the dishes are not overdone or overly complicated. Highly recommended!

Lovely decor but everything is so overpriced! Children's menu: chicken nuggets and chips. Have a guess . £10?, no, £25. , And i'm not even joking. Yes, £25 for kids chicken nuggets and chips. £10 a pint and £17 a cocktail. You are paying for the chandeliers. And my daughter is sad because they took away her £11 bubble ttea before she had eaten the bubbles.

Madhu’s beautiful opulent dining room set in the Dilly Hotel, We had the tasting menu for 9 people including a champagne reception I purchased at a charity auction so well done to them for there donation. The bar/lounge is beautiful super high ceilings with french ornate decor with huge chandeliers. Great lighting and yet a real eastern feeling. The tables are nicely spread out and everything feels high quality. Champagne was served with some nibbles, one guest was Pescatarian but they accommodated her very well, she got her own fish dishes that were beautiful. They served a few platters across the table, all excellent with a great selection of salads lamb chicken salmon, Naan’s and rice bowls I first thought not enough for 9 people but I was wrong we had ample food. Kulfi dessert was nice. I have only taken one star off a full score because although the service was excellent once the mains had been delivered I did notice the staff dropped back (a lot) from then on we had to wave to get there attention and fill our own glasses with wine. Not major but disappointing at this level. The bill was £280 for drinks only as I didn’t see the food price but we would definitely go again.

It was very good, but unfortunately this dinner was ruined at the end of the meal by the sudden irruption at our table of an aggressive beggar who by trickery stole my smartphone. I realized this theft immediately, my wife and I chased this thief running through the dining room, the lounge bar, and the reception of the establishment shouting “my phone, my phone…. » It was a passerby on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant who understood the situation and stopped the thief by tripping him in order to recover the stolen smartphone. All this happened under the eyes of the staff, however numerous, but totally passive of the establishment, who did not intervene to assist me!!!! It's still incredible in an establishment of this class, that a beggar can attack and rob customers so easily. I warmly thank the passerby who intervened in the street, whom I perhaps did not thank enough, I was a little shocked by this incredible aggression. (Original) Nous avons dîné hier soir dans ce magnifique restaurant Madhu’s Mayfair. C’était très bien, mais malheureusement ce dîner a été gâché en fin de repas par l’irruption soudaine à notre table d’un mendiant agressif qui par ruse m’a volé mon smartphone. Je me suis rendu compte de ce vol immédiatement, ma femme et moi avons poursuivi ce voleur en courant à travers la salle du restaurant, le salon bar, et la réception de l’établissement en criant «mon téléphone, mon téléphone …. » C’est un passant sur le trottoir devant le restaurant qui a compris la situation et qui a stoppé le voleur en le faisant trébucher afin de récupérer le smartphone volé. Tout cela c’est passé sous les yeux du personnel, pourtant nombreux, mais totalement passif de l’établissement, qui n’est pas intervenu pour m’assister!!!! C’est quand même incroyable dans un établissement de cette classe, qu’un mendiant puisse agresser et voler les clients aussi facilement. Je remercie vivement le passant qui est intervenu dans la rue, que je n’ai peut-être pas assez remercié, j’étais un peu choqué par cette incroyable agression.

amazing staff and amazing sharing platter and of course cocktails My sister had a slight sore throat and they made her a very nice hot toddy!! Vegetarian options: the vege sharing platter is a must! In fact we just went for that and then the dessert which was equally yummy!

I stay at The Dilly hotel because of the amazing restaurant Madhu’s which has some of the best Indian food in the world. But the best asset of this restaurant is their attentive staff which provide amazing service from the smiles, always available at the right time attitudes and just really nice people. Special thanks to Sajol from Nepal who made my dinner so enjoyable tonight. I will be back!!!
