Popped in for a gluten free sandwich, there was only one option which was a shame. The self service checkouts are tiny so you're squashed up against the people either side of you, I can imagine it being very difficult for people with mobility issues or pushchairs. Self service machine didn't want to read the bar code so that meant a delay, sandwich was okay and a fair price.

The food is good quality and generally low on sugar (compared to other supermarkets). Very cramped and crowded.

Customer service is atrocious. Do not bother using the self-service tills in the morning - I have to pop in most mornings and only twice have I witnessed somebody overseeing these tills. Nine times out of ten nobody will be there and you’ll have to make your way further into the shop to speak with one of the semi-brain dead members of staff to seek assistance. Wait another ten minutes and a disgruntled old dear will come and ‘help’ you - no apology; barely even a grunt of recognition. Perhaps after spending much of my life outside of the UK I’m used to something that resembles customer service, but apparently any semblance of this concept was abandoned long ago here with this M&S leading the charge. Avoid if you can.
