I've never known a firm to be so reluctant to address a matter at hand or to be so laisez faire over vital issues and unconcerned about a client's requirements. Promises of specific actions were made but were not followed through. We were continually left in the dark on the status of matter at hand and had to repeatedly call, email and chase up on every little issue. There's no doubt there were some very real complications on the matter that needed to be sorted out but their constant excuses and repeated miscommunication of facts with both us and the lawyers on the opposite side caused us to lose thousands of pounds in the sale of the flat. Their handling of the matter was simply shocking and caused my wife significant distress. For the record, my wife was the named client in this matter but I was involved in all negotiations. The above review has been amended after receiving several threats of legal action from Martin Nossell & Co.
