The staff at Mayfair Aesthetics are nice and the clinic is clean, however after 8 full body sessions I must say I'm very disappointed with the results. Like a lot of other posters, I was very excited after my first few sessions when I saw hair shedding, but it was only temporary. At the start of my sessions, I was told that my hairs would respond very well and to expect a much more significant permanent reduction but this hasn't been the case unfortunately. Another thing I found strange was that one therapist would tell me that in order to see results I would need to constantly shave between sessions. I shaved between sessions to remain hair-free in any case, but the idea that shaving makes laser more effective is obviously not true (laser targets the follicle whereas shaving just removes hair on the surface of the skin). Did confuse me a bit that someone who performs laser would say something like that! It's like the old wives tale that shaving makes hair grow 'thicker', but the opposite - that it makes laser more permanent... In any case, for the past 10 months or so I have been having bikini laser elsewhere with a different machine (Quanta Thunder), and my results have been perfect, despite the fact that the bikini area tends to be stubborn to treat, so I will be going there for future sessions. Edit: As time went on, even more hair grew back leaving me back where I started. My arm hair is now worse than it was before the laser and upper arms have thick hairs that weren't there before so now I'm having to save up even more money for electrolysis. Totally ineffective laser, a waste of time and poor customer service - avoid. I attempted to explain my concerns to management, sent photos etc but wasn't listened to or acknowledged at all. He said he would get in touch with the manufacturer of the laser to 'investigate' (🤷♀️) and I didn't hear back ever since. After contacting again, the manager offered 2 extra sessions for free which, quite frankly, is a joke, given that after 8 sessions and nearly £2000 I've seen no results, and I'd already started treatments with another clinic (with amazing results). I requested that instead of two free sessions to just have the cost of those two reimbursed (still such a ridiculously small sum of money compared to what I had paid), but this was refused for some reason. Do not recommend Mayfair Aesthetics at all. If it doesn't work you'll just be told you're 'resistant' and brushed off, with thousands gone down the drain. They also incentivise leaving good reviews, so take things with a pinch of salt. Wish I'd known that before parting with my money.

I did a LOT of research before committing to going with Mayfair Aesthetics. I am now 4 sessions in & every experience with the team has been great. All the ladies doing the laser have been really thorough and knowledgeable, I have felt very comfortable. I could not recommend them enough. The laser itself is top grade after doing lots of research. They are probably a little more expensive than the usual high street laser clinics, but worth it in my opinion and still good value for money when doing multiple areas. Service: Laser hair removal

From the first patch test to the actual sessions, the staff were super professional, attentive to my actual skin/hair situation and adapting accordingly. I am currently half way through my treatment and I have had really very good results. My hair has reduced so much. Thank you to Magdalena Konopka for doing it. I recommend this place.
