Absolute nightmare experience. We were recommended to this company when we were most in need. The company quoted us a sum that on easy negotiation at the meeting was dropped by 33%. However after meeting them for my first client meeting on Monday, things with our business changed as my family then had to relocate from our home so we had to advise the company to stop working on our project on the on Tuesday as the safety of my family was more important than using this firm to try and salvage the business reputation from online trolls. The company had done some work before we met at the client meeting which needs to be mentioned however what is being advised was completed is being disputed. When I asked them to stop working on this project, the company then advised that the costs were 50% of the monthly total. This is when things started to turn and we saw the company in its true light. They charged me 50% of the monthly cost and then had no shame in saying that the MD (who I never met) charged £400 per hour and that he worked on this for 3 hours which again in my opinion is very difficult to believe. So that was £1200 for work which seems to include reviewing his own work!! I never agreed to this contract and didn't sign terms and conditions advising they could revert to these extortionate rates. All seems like they took advantage of me in my situation. This of course is just my opinion. The emails since from their MD suggested that they believe they have acted ethically and that they have clients such as politicians and a few other names mentioned which I am not sure was supposed to justify the extortionate prices or was to make me feel like I had a good deal. However I feel humiliated and let down by this company and the way they have treated me after I raised issues is in my opinion unacceptable. I feel cheated and disappointed that I was recommended to this company when I was in need and since I moved away from them have not slept and feel humiliated. I cannot recommend this company but of course, every case will be different and this is my story as I see it.
