I found these people to be amazing. I spoke on the phone to them before purchasing Arete One dehumidifiers. Their customer service were super helpful, taking the time to call me back on some quite detailed queries I'd had. The product turned out to be every bit as good as they'd claimed. I've had it running non stop for a year without any issues, and it pulls huge amounts of water from the air. Their designs are 'in house' too, not generic Chinese. My only complaint would be that they don't have the filters in stock ever. Annoying, but that's a good thing, right? Shows how popular they are. It seems that the people who gave them bad reviews are saying things like 'Im outraged my unit stopped working, after I put it through its paces for a few years' but umm... thats well outside of normal warranty, so people shouldn't be basing their reviews on an expectation that manufacturers never claimed you should have.

Wanted to book my meaco for a repair been told that if courier during transit looses it or damages the unit they are not gonna replace or take any responsibility for it…. Simply not good for a machine that costs nearly £300!!

I have owned three dehumidifiers from Meaco (two replacement units) and they have all died after just a few months use. They have all had c8 errors which are non-repairable. Meaco have refused to replace the third unit. This is poor customer service especially as we have only used them for a few months of each year and have stored them and maintained them as per instructions. These products are poor quality and the company has bad customer service.

Poor customer service - called to see if their Arete 25L unit was in stock and was told by the initial lady we spoke to (who was friendly and helpful) that particular model was out of stock with none available but there was a similar Meaco unit in stock that would do the job. We called back to check to see what spec we needed to look for on their website so we could place an order and a different, very curt lady said we would have to seach online ourselves as she didnt know! I asked if there was anywhere else we could find the unit we wanted and she said they were out of stock everywhere and they had no idea (as the supplier) when they would be back in stock. Thankfully 10 minutes later I managed to find the 25L Arete in stock at Argos so have gone there. What a shame their customer service team were so unhelpful!!

Meaco reagiert erst nach Androhung vom Anwalt. Erst dann gab es erst ein Etikett für die Rücksendung des defekten Geräts. Dies ist schon seit 1 Woche bei Meaco eingetroffen und von denen keinerlei Reaktion geschweigedenn wäre mal ein neues Gerät gekommen oder unterwegs. Selten so einen unterirdischen Kundenservice erlebt.
