A&E... What a joke I was sent by Medoc doctor (ex A&E doctor, who was amazing) as needed hospital treatment for side effects of my medication and they said was not their problem and to see GP. I told them I have been doing everything they have said but had not helped they said it's not their problem. She didn't listen to anything I said only hearing what she wanted so the discharge note which had now been sent to my GP is a load of twaddle.

My son was seen in the Children's emergency department just hours ago and the service was fantastic. I can't thank nurse Katie Gray enough for showing empathy and care to my son who injured his left leg and developed wound infection. Thanks for everything you do for the NHS.

I would give 0 star. Awful service I was left to sit on the plastic chair for 17 hours without monitor. Nobody checked on me. I was vommiting, no water available, team of nurses on the desk were laughing at me when I was tiredlessly vommiting my gut out. I wish I had names to put on here but I can't as I was alone and having cardiac related issues. I was told they will give me pain relief and anti sickness. But nothing. Worse service in my entire life worse hospital.. avoid at all cost. If Iam sick again I will travel to m parents in London and go to st Thomas

Diabetic team one of them is nurse Celia and nutritionist Karisma are great They are serving my daughter with great attention but emergency department is so so bad. After waiting 5.30 hours in emergency department my 4 years old boy is going back at home without receiving attention. The most frustrated part is after waiting 3 hours when someone comes to take your details even though you came with an Ambulance!!Logically paramedical already provide details once u come With Ambulance. My question is what sorts of Emergency department is it!!! If there is no stuff to run then they should provide limited service. You never know how long they will take to attend you!!!Sometimes I wonder does it happening in medway what is a part of Great britain.I wish authority will pay attention to work for offering better health services for our kids.

Disgusting. Left after sitting there for over 3 hours and not seen by a single person. I left once I found out the other patients had been waiting upto 11 hours. These people were extremely poorly and it was very difficult to watch them suffer their discomfort. I went home with an untreated fractured wrist and went to Maidstone A&E the next morning who were outstanding. Medway staff had no sense of urgency to deal with patients quickly they all looked pretty content with hovering around casually like no one was waiting. Absolutely no communication. Perhaps pay rise considerations should be given to well performing departments only whose management know how to run the department properly. Will be writing to the CQC.

The paramedics were amazing and that one star is for them. A&E was awful they literally left you for hours not even bothering to check on you or offer you water AT ALL. They told me to not go to toilet when I needed to as they needed to check my bloods which they took too long to do as they were too busy chatting about their Sunday nights and where they were going to drink. I have a rare auto immune disease which I can have severe breathing crises i very much doubt they would have done anything if I had another one. Due to it taking forever and it being about midnight we came in we tried to get some sleep however even though you could clearly see we were trying to get some sleep they still slam draws and talk about their social lives loudly. We had no updates or reassurance. The only time they were being nice to us is when we said we want to voluntarily discharge myself. All I can say is they definitely don’t film ‘24 Hours in A&E’ here as they would be fired. When I next have one of my attacks (which I have specifically been told by my neurologist to go to A&E) it puts me off even attending as I don’t believe I would get any help.

Very busy and overwhelmed hospital. Yesterday it was less busy than I have seen it but average waiting time was still over 3 hours. Parking is awful as not enough spaces. Around peak visiting times traffic waiting to go in can cause jams on some local roads.
