Sharon has always been a brilliant french teacher, she coached me through problems patiently and allowed me to thrive in my french abilities in a comfortable and encouraging learning environment. Her IT setup was fantastic, allowing us to communicate seamlessly online and aiding my learning through interactive activities. I always looked forward to our lessons and enjoyed chatting to Sharon, she always had interesting facts and knowledge of different french cultures and countries we would be covering. Sharon played a key role in helping my son to prepare for his French GCSC exams this year. My son was getting a little discouraged with his French lesson as he was not receiving proper support from his school. His grades weren't progressing towards his desired level. Sharon worked really hard with him to ensure he received the guidance and support he needed. Sharon had an in-depth knowledge of the GCSE French syllabus and the exam requirements, as well as a huge variety of resources and materials to draw upon and a solid teaching experience. My son really enjoyed his lessons with Sharon, and found her to be patient, motivating and encouraging, and this, in turn, helped him to attain a high grade in his recent GCSC exams. Although my son will not be doing French for his A Levels, he has decided to continue having regular lessons with her so he can continue to improve his knowledge of the language. An amazing teacher who starts the lesson with 'Buenos días' and goes on speaking in Spanish. I was shocked that my son who never spoke in confidence started speaking fluently. Sharon made my son so comfortable and confident that he started paying more attention to Spanish which he always thought he will never pass. Although having only a few months until my exams, Sharon worked with me persistently and kept lessons interesting and engaging. Sharon is extremely approachable and friendly, making it easy to engage with her and her method of teaching showed me that sometimes you just need the right teacher to help you! I can highly recommend Sharon to anyone looking for a language teacher. Sharon is an experienced and skilled teacher with an in-depth knowledge of French and Spanish language, life and culture. As an adult learner with terrible memories of school French lessons, I have found the last few years learning with Sharon to be a delightful experience. She has kindly and expertly guided me and improved my language skills to a point which would probably astound my old school teacher. The language learning has taken place in the context of learning about French life, politics, culture, geography etc so each lesson has been fascinating and taught me so much. And what is more each lesson has been tremendous fun - I never previously associated French lessons with laughter!
