Horrific. Rude, arrogant, self centred man who thinks he’s entitled to the world. Do yourself a favour and spend your money somewhere that actually deserves it.

3 stars and that's for the fishery not the owner! I've fished here a few times recently and caught a lot of nice roach up to 1lb plus bream to 3lb and some smaller skimmers, I told some friends about it and we all said it was a nice fishery. Now, I wouldn't fish there if you paid me. Here's why...I arrived there at 7:50 am and parked up just past the tackle shed to wait for my friend. The weather wasn't brilliant so we had arranged to meet and see if we wanted to fish. He turned up at 7:55 and it was raining steadily so we decided we would leave it till Thursday. As we pulled out the owner stood there waving his arms around. I stopped and opened my window down to see what he wanted. He said to me, " It ain't a bloody car park mate", I said, I know that, I was waiting for my mate to see if we were going to fish. he said " I don't care, meet your mate somewhere else". I told him I didn't like his attitude and he replied" never mind my attitude just go". I said we'd only been there about 5 minutes and he said " I don't care how long you've been there, f*ck off!. I knew he was a bit grumpy having spoken to him a few times but I didn't think he was that bad. So, unfortunately I won't be going there again and putting money in his pocket. Its a really nice place despite the fact its a bit shallow in places but with an owner like that its best avoided. Edit. Since posting this I have been told he was the same with someone else when they complained about his sweaty maggots and said they ought to be in a fridge. (he charges £4 per pint so you'd expect them to be in good condition.) Apparently he said " its nothing to do with you what I do with my f*cking maggots, if you don't like it then you can f*ck off." So like me, he did just that and hasn't returned.
