We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Miller's Hut. The Hut was very clean and comfortable and everything necessary was provided in the homely rustic field kitchen. Breakfast, including home-made bread and real butter, muesli, yogurt, fruit, milk and orange juice was wonderful and healthy. We were fortunate to be able to eat most of our meals outside, overlooking the mill and the pond with ducks. It was nice to be able to make drinks in the Hut as well as in the kitchen. This break was a much appreciated belated Mother's Day gift from my daughter and it was lovely to be able to get away for a few days and truly relax in the beautiful surroundings. Jo and her husband were friendly and being on the site of a working flour mill was an added bonus. We would 100% recommend Miller's Huts to anyone who wants a quiet getaway. Marion Ewbank

Miller's huts are a lovely glamping getaway right near Shaftesbury. Very cosy huts next to a working mill and large pond. Warm and welcoming touches include lovely breakfast bits like fresh farm bread and butter, fruit, yogurt, and juice in the rustic field kitchen. Everything you need for a comfortable stay has been carefully considered and provided. The only downside is that the huts are located just off a fairly busy road into town.

We originally booked our stay in 2020, but got delayed due to lockdowns etc. Suffice to say we were looking forward to some time away from our home and were so happy to have stayed in such a lovely space. The welcome basket was very kindly veganised (to a high standard, not just thoughtless swaps) and came with everything we needed for a lovely fresh breakfast every morning by the water. Between the field kitchen and the fire pit/a bbq you're well serviced for food if you wanted to cook. The hut itself is very cute in its design both inside and out. The bed is comfy, even for myself as a 6'3 individual, and having a kettle and tea/coffee in the hut was a great idea. There's space for board games if you bring your own, or there's some there ready for you to play. The space is very peaceful and quiet, coming from a busy city it really is striking how quiet it is in the evenings and mornings. The toilet and shower were both great as well. Would 100% stay again. Make sure to bring pyjamas if it's looking like it might be a chilly evening.

Our Romantic stay was every thing we expected and then some! Run by a warm friendly couple in beautiful surroundings. The huts are beautiful well insulated with a romantic gypsy caravan esk feel. The hut had electrical sockets a delight we didn't expect. The small double bed is of great quality very soft with comfy bedding. The fresh breakfast spread is very generouse, going through the variouse treats in the hamper & kitchen is a bit like Christmas morning.

Great hosts in a fantastic millpond setting, Jo couldn't do enough to make our stay a wonderful one and it was a very relaxing couple of days. The wood burner is gorgeous on these later summer mornings, warm and toasty. We didn't want to get out of bed! Highly recommended. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 … More

Cosy Shepherd’s hut with friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely breakfast and good quality, tasty meats. Good to be back to basics cooking on an open fire. We loved the wood burner in the hut too - warmed up the room so quickly.
